The perfect party prep, made easy!
Hey party people! I’ve taken a couple weeks away from the blog to focus on sharing my voice in current world events. While I’ll still continue to do so, I wanted to get back into the swing of party things on the blog!
Ever since we’ve gone into shelter at home it’s been a little bit trickier to host parties, BUT people got creative, inventive, and really thought outside of the box! I loved seeing the rise of front yard graduations, drive-by baby showers, and stoop weddings. People got creative with backyard gatherings, at-home birthdays and virtual bachelorette parties too. All of this has proven one thing: It’s not where you’re at or what you’re doing, but rather who you’re with that truly matters. Family, friends, and loved ones are the most important part of any good party.
While these big events and life moments are so exciting, it can also be stressful to gather all of the things you need just days before the party - food, drinks, chair rentals, decor, and more.
I’ve got to let you guys in on a little secret that has been such a game-changer for me! I recently celebrated my boyfriend’s birthday and co-hosted my friend’s bachelorette party, and it made my life a million times easier to order delivery decor from Paris312. Yes! You heard that right - delivery decor. I don’t have a car in the city, so the thought of picking up and dropping off big balloon arrangements wasn’t even something I really could have done before. I’ve used it several times now, and admittedly, I’m obsessed.
I will always be honest with you all about branded content, and they are a brand that I love to work with. I’ve used their products many times, and the quality is always so good. I will also always share the best tips I’ve got with you guys, and this is one of them. My secret little party helper! Let me tell you about two of the main ways you can transform your party without barely lifting a finger.
For Matt’s birthday, I set up a surprise virtual cooking class with his family, which was really fun. We learned to make some traditional Spanish tapas from simple household ingredients! I always like to extend birthdays and celebrations beyond the day to make them extra special, so I ordered an awesome balloon bouquet and some greenery to accent the dinner table for our homemade steak dinner that night. I love fresh flowers, but for him, I thought that the fresh greenery added a really nice touch while still feeling a bit more masculine. Everything I ordered came ready-to-party, so I didn’t have to blow up any balloons or tie any strings. I simply unpacked the items and arranged everything exactly how I wanted it on the table. It’s perfect when you’re super busy, but you still want to make sure you have something nice for the ones you love.
For my friend Allie’s virtual bachelorette party, I sent her an adorable oversized champagne bottle balloon bouquet. It was super easy to order online and there were a bunch of fun options to choose from. We were all standing outside finishing up the surprise when their adorable pink truck pulled up to gift her one last surprise before the virtual part of the party happened. They delivered it right to her door, so it was one less thing we had to worry about on the day of! I told you guys it was a game-changer 😊, plus they offer Free Low-Contact Delivery on orders over $25 (and donate a portion of proceeds to local charity) so you really can’t beat that.
