Self-care products I'm loving right now

Who doesn’t need a little self-care every now and again? If you’re going to be the ‘hostess with the mostess’ you have to take care of yourself first - whether you’re party prepping or just keeping up with routine self-care!

Self-care is a phrase that we’ve all heard a million times in the past 5 years, but it’s SO REAL! The benefits of something as simple as taking a deep breath or counting to five are proven to help you out in the long run. Self-care helps me re-center, re-focus, and de-stress. I love including meditation, vocal gratitude lists, and podcasts that inspire me into the routine too!

I wanted to share my top 10 favorite self-care products I’m loving right now. These are my favorite items to use these when prepping for events, or even just routine self-care whenever I have some downtime to dedicate to true ‘me-time’. As always, head back over to Instagram or Facebook and let me know what items you’re loving right now - sharing is caring :)

ONE. Devotional/Gratitude Journal - I’ve been loving 100 Days to Brave by Annie Downs, which I’ve been working through this spring. It’s built into daily bite-sized reads that are the perfect length to easily fit into your morning routine - especially if you aren’t a huge morning person like me. For the most part, I’ve found the reads to be funny, relatable, or a little tug on the heart strings. I love the spiritual and inspiration boost in the AM.

TWO. Room Spray - Talk about a mood booster! I recently started spraying my new scent just before opening my devotional. It’s a great way to associate the scent with positive vibes.

THREE. Under Eye Cream - I swear by this eye cream! I’ve been using it for about a year, and it. just. works. Perfect to prep before a big event or just to give your eyes a little TLC.

FOUR. Deep Moisturizer - This is my favorite moisturizer by Oh K! brand. This Chok Chok glowing moisturizer is so rich and creamy, and it makes your skin feel so soft. This is one of the first facial products I’ve used where I can actually see a difference in the morning!

FIVE. Bath Headband - They’ve been making the cutest microfiber headbands lately, and these are no exception. They are so soft and perfect to keep your hair out of your face when doing at-home facials or even makeup.

SIX. Dry Body Oil (Instead of Lotion) - I linked the version of this product with SPF20, because how great is it to have a two-in-one! I don’t love the feeling of cold lotion, so when I found this dry oil I instantly fell in love. It’s so quick and easy. You don’t have to use your hands, but even if you did, it’s not sticky or oily feeling at all!

SEVEN. Coffee Body Scrub - Just trust me! If you’re a coffee lover, this scent is amazing. On the morning of party prep or whenever you do your normal self-care routine, this immediately wakes you up and gives you a burst of energy. Personally, I love to take this on vacation with me too!

EIGHT. Lip Scrub - Don’t forget about your lips. A good lip scrub every so often is such a good habit to weave into your routine. If you’re getting ready for a party, be sure to do this step day-of for the best silky results as you’re making conversation at the party.

NINE. Lip Balm - I just love the Raw Sugar Living scrub + balm set, so you can’t skip step number two! A good balm is also the best the base for a color lipstick or gloss.

TEN. Face Mist - This Tatcha face mist is great to finish off a makeup look, or give your skin some love after washing your face. It use a super-fine perfume spritzer, so it feels super heavenly when you mist it on (seriously).

ELEVEN. The Best Mascara Remover - Again, Just trust me! If you haven’t used a true mascara remover before, this is a game-changer. I received this as a gift and didn’t even know mascara removers exist. I was skeptical at first, but after one use I was a believer and two years later it’s a staple in my nighttime routine. This makes it so easy to remove party looks.

Pro Tip: I put the mascara remover on first, brush my teeth, and by the time I’m done, it washes right off!

I hope you all find some quiet time in your schedule for self care soon. Take care!
