Easy Spring & Easter Table Decor

Our Easter ritual is usually Sunday service, followed by lunch and an Easter egg hunt for the kids. My mom always puts together a gorgeous table setting with gold accents and seasonal colors for Easter lunch. I love noting all of the little details, time, and effort she spends to create a welcoming space for our family and guests to dine together. It truly sets the scene and tone for the occasion and makes guests feel extra special knowing that something was prepared just for them. After all, it isn’t just a typical lunch or dinner, but rather, an important moment to come together as family and friends to celebrate.

Although things are different this year, virtual gatherings have made it possible for us to still see and feel close to the ones we love. We’re planning to swap recipes ahead of time, cue up the video chats, and set the table for Easter. I’ve pulled together some quick and easy table settings you can put together with just a few things to brighten up your dinner table for Easter & spring! (Quick Tip: While we’re not shopping around as much these days, you can still plan to grab these items at your local department stores like Walmart and Target when you’re out for groceries.)

Egg-zactly what you need to dress up your table for easter & spring:

  1. Fill a simple vase with something festive, like pastel colored Easter eggs.

  2. Try an alternative vase! Something fun and spring-y, like a watering can, is perfect for fresh flowers.

  3. Add a pop of color with a few festive bowls or containers. Fill them with shredded paper or tinsel, and then add a topper like Easter eggs or faux flowers. You can even mix and match these items.

  4. Layer festive items. Try combining the bowls and fresh flowers for a more dynamic table setting. Spring Cadbury eggs or other fun candies in the bowls for the kids to find (or for you to snack on throughout the week)!

There you have it — quick, easy, and affordable!
