my favorite winter white dresses

It’s official - winter is here! The temperatures dropped and the snow has coated just about every corner of Chicago. The white snowfall looks so gorgeous on the city streets, but let’s be honest, it makes me just want to cuddle up in warm cozy sweaters and stay inside (with some homemade soup)! As much as I wish I could stay cuddled up all winter long, there are so many amazing things to do and see in the city during the winter. Every year Chicago has an event in February called Restaurant Week that brings in foodies from all around. So, this month I’ll be attending an early release menu at one of Restaurant Week’s venues to provide reviews online and a really great expo with my friend Allie. I’ll definitely be pulling out the sweater dresses and fun winter looks for those events. I’m a firm believer in statement staple pieces that are quick and easy, but look sharp. Quick tip: adding a staple winter white dress to your wardrobe will do just that! Winter fits can become so dark, heavy, and drab in these colder months, so having these lighter pieces on hand make it easier to switch things up.

From cozy cowl necks to sweatshirt-inspired to sleek silhouettes, I pulled together a range of amazing winter white dresses out right now that are perfect for every occasion & linked them below. This list has some amazing go-to pieces that can work as stand-alone statement dresses or simple fits that you can build on. I love adding a thick belt, OTK (over-the-knee) boots, or a knit hat to accessorize any winter white look.

The dress I’m wearing in this post is linked here, and the material is sooo soft.

Quick Tip: On colder days, just add tights!

As much as I love a cozy sweater, I always love a good reason to dress up, and I think these looks are perfect for a variety of occasions. I hope this helped inspire you to add a little winter white to brighten up your closet this season too!
